Four in a row is played on a board consisting of 7 columns and 6 rows. Each player has 21 stones in their own color. The goal of Four in a row is to be the first to form a continuous row with 4 own stones.
Taking turns, the players drop one of their own stones in one of the columns. Once a column is full, no more stones can be placed in it.
The game ends when one of the players has formed a continuous row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) with 4 of their own stones. The player who does this first wins the game.
