Dots and boxes is played on a board consisting of 5x5 squares. The goal of Dots and boxes is to close as many squares as possible.
Taking turns, the players choose one of the 4 sides of one of the squares on the board. When a player closes a square (all sides are chosen), it changes to his color after which he can choose another side.
The game ends when all squares are closed. The player who has closed most squares wins the game.
